Don’t be fooled. I was very excited to try this product, but when I tried it, it was remarkably sour. I reached out to the team to see if it was a bad product, but they said it wasn’t. I guess it’s supposed to be sour?

Chocolate date spread is a great topping for berries and other fruits and is fairly guilt free as it is much lower in calories than other chocolate spread alternatives. The taste is great, and we will be checking out other flavor options.

I just wanted to give dates a try and learned I’m personally not their biggest fan. But the spread itself, not bad!! I tried it with bananas and it tasted alright. I think the chocolate is what saved it for me. I might give the other flavors a try one day. If you love dates and love chocolate I think you’d like this!!

I purchased 4 jars and made Christmas cookies out of all 4 jars an have given most away an I'm getting phone calls from many that I gave asking for the recipe or more!! Chocolate walnut date pinwheels, molasses pumpkin date cookies, vanilla date Blondie bars!! Pretty much the base of all 3 is the wanna date spread! Phenomenal!! But I gotta tell ya just out of the jar by the spoonful it's divine deliciousness!!

Well it was different than I was expecting for sure. The texture was looser than I thought it would be and it really was sweet! Without added sugar! I actually could have used a bit more chocolate flavor, but honestly, it grew on me as I ate it over the course of the week. Great on rice cakes, muffins and just plain. I am going to try another flavor soon. It did take care of my sweet craving mid afternoon and I felt good about eating it.
