• 1+1/3 cup of Snickerdoodle date dough
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup apple sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp almond milk
  • 1 pear: thinly sliced

Preheat oven to 350 and line and 8x8 pan with parchment paper.
In a large bowl add the wet ingredients. Mix.
In a separate bowl mix the dry ingredients together (press out any clumps in the dry mix!) then add to the wet ingredients. Mix. Add in about 1/2-3/4of the pear (chopped). Pour batter into the pan. Then thinly slice the rest of the pear and arrange it on top.
Bake for 18 minutes. Drop the heat to 325, rotate the pan, and continue baking for 12 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool completely. Enjoy!
