VEGAN APPLE CIDER DONUTS

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup cassava flour
  • 1 tbsp coconut flour
  • 3 tbsp cinnamon date spread
  • 3 tbsp of almond butter
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup Apple cider
  • 1 flax egg
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • Cinnamon sugar coating
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon

    DIRECTIONS

    Part One: Apple Cider

    Pour 1/2 cup of apple cider in a saucepan. Bring it to a boil then let sit simmer for 15 minutes. Turn the stove off and let this cool.

    Part Two: Donuts

    Mix all of the wet ingredients first then add the rest of the ingredients, except the cinnamon sugar coating.

    Mold the batter into a greased donut baking pan and bake at 350F for 20-25 minutes.

    Part Three: Sugar Coating

    Mix together the cinnamon & coconut sugar. Once the donuts are cooled. Dunk each warm donut in the cinnamon sugar mix to coat all sides.
