Spread a touch of olive oil or vegan butter to the outside of each bread slice.
With the buttered side facing down, place the bread on a heated stovetop.
Add two slices of your favorite cheese (or vegan cheese) to each slice of bread as it heats on the stovetop.
Before the cheese melts, spread Wanna Date Original Date Spread on each sandwich half over the cheese.
When the cheese is mostly melted, combine the two sandwich halves and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes. Flip as needed.
