CHOCOLATE PB SNACK CAKE

Ingredients

  • 1.25 cups Chocolate Date Dough mix
  • 2 tbsp dark cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup apple sauce
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tbsp milk of choice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract


Topping: 1/2 cup peanut butter + 1/4 cup maple syrup + pinch of salt
+ shaved chocolate

Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350 and line an 8x8 pan with parchment paper. In a large bowl add your wet ingredients. In a separate bowl add your dry ingredients and mix with a spoon to ensure all lumps of dry ingredients are pressed out. Add the dry to the wet and mix well. Pour into your pan. Bake for 18 minutes. Drop the heat to 325 and continue baking for 7 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool completely. Make your topping. Top and enjoy!
